Welcome to Climate Space

|

|
|
Climatespace is a
brand new place where you can meet others who are taking steps, large
or small to cut their carbon emissions, and share your experience.
You’ll find useful short cuts and information, personal stories, news,
requests for help, cutting edge thinking and a little inspiration.
Add your
own ideas to climatespace, and together we can begin to make a real
change.

How
people are teaming up across the world to tackle climate change
People
Power is one of the most moving stories I have heard in a long time.
The damage caused by flooding in an Ethiopian village motivated one
person to take steps to change their own lifestyle, and to do what they
could to support the local community. By working with friends to
provide the finance that would allow the community to put in place the
simple measures they know could help them adapt to changing
environmental conditions, he really has made a difference…

can you help?

What have you done to
reduce your impact on the environment that was quick and easy?
Come on site, share your ideas and help others
get started. We’ve put up a few to get the ball rolling. Here’s
one. Now we need you to add yours – either as a
comment here, or a fresh story. If you’ve taken steps that took a
bit more effort, tell us about them too – we’ve found that any step we
take brings rewards – both personal and for the planet..
Please pass this e-letter on
But, above all…
