The Ethical Junction Conscious Consumer's Guide
The planned Ethical Junction Conscious Consumer’s shopping guide is an invaluable guide to ethical, eco-friendly, sustainable, fairly traded shopping and lifestyle opportunities.
This handy pocket sized guide is a fact packed tool to assist in Ethical Junction’s mission to empower ethical consumers and make it easier to make more ethical shopping and lifestyle choices.
It makes it far easier for eco-shoppers to dynamically weald the power of their purse or wallet and use their debit cards to promote and support the solutions that Ethical Junction members have on offer to make a profound and positive difference to the world.
The aim is to match intention and aspiration with the delivery of cutting edge ground breaking ethical and sustainable ideas and practical advice to ensure intention becomes action.
This will send clear messages to supporters of the all consuming slash and burn status quo that their days are numbered.
The world is changing
Nescafe now sell Fairtrade coffee, McDonalds now sell vegetarian burgers, Primark sells organic cotton T-shirts, Marks and Spencers sell fair trade flowers, and Cadbury’s sell fair trade vegan chocolate.
Buying from the pioneering eco-competitors of these global producers is the surest way to get them to change. Hitting them where it hurts most – their sales figures and profit margins – is the easiest way to get them to listen to the issues we care most about.
Whilst Ethical Junction is committed to develop their ethical network. by working with our wide ranging family of members we can achieve so much more if together we accept the responsibility of educating consumers about new ethical choices.
We can use the new guide to market Ethical Junction members at events such as The Bristol Vegan Fayre or Green Festivals, we can sell it in shops giving our industry a point of awareness in UK high streets, we can work with magazines and other websites and give the guide away as prizes in competitions.
The guide features a full page introduction to each of Ethical Junction’s 23 categories, enlightening the reader about what’s new and what to look out for in the future. These sections written by the experts at the sharp end will give users of the guide a unique insight into that particular eco-industry.
Be a part of the guide
Ethical Junction members are invited to forward their expert opinion in these 23 categories to make sure these sections remain topical and practically informative.
Please note that only current Ethical Junction members, who have completed the application process and therefore committed themselves to EJ’s six core ethical principles, will be featured in the guide ensuring the long term success of the guide based on up to date quality content rather than just paid advertising like other guides. We envisage it will quickly become a must have eco-download as well as a constantly referred to, well thumbed hard-copy lifestyle guide.
Hard copy editions will of course be published using the most sustainable materials and processes that we can practically source.
