Only Fair short listed for Green Business Award!
One of five companies to be short listed in the Best Fair Trade Company category of the Green England Green Awards 2008, the awards aim to showcase the commitment of companies and individuals to environmental and ethical goals. Vote for Only Fair.
Since the website launched in August 2007 Only Fair has gone from strength to strength. Dedicated to supplying only fair trade gifts, everything is sourced through BAFTS and IFAT registered fair trade suppliers who are subject to strict criteria, meaning that customers can be sure that producers have been treated fairly and paid a fair price for their work.
Kate James, owner of Only Fair says “I’m delighted that Only Fair
has been nominated in the Awards. My thoughts first and foremost are to
promote fair trade and to help make it accessible to everyone. Its
really important to show people the reasons for fair trade and how it
benefits those involved. The website has information about fair trade
and also the producers behind the products, giving you a glimpse into
the lives of the people behind them”.
Winners of the Green
England Awards are announced on the 8th December 2008. Voting is open
until 28 November.
