Just a little note to tell everyone about the Keen Green & Ethical Market that is taking place in Leeds on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this week.
The market will feature a number of stalls held by ethical businesses, including the fair trade shop By Hand. The stalls will be in Victoria Gardens, which is the area in front of the art gallery on the Headrow in Leeds.
If you live in the area and want to do your bit to support ethical business then pop along.
By Hand is a small, family-run fair trade organisation based in Leeds that works with marginalised producers in Indonesia to provide a market for their goods. The products include eco-friendly, rattan bags, chunky necklaces made from resin and wood, batik silk scarves and sterling silver jewellery.
