The Royal Oak, Bishopstone, Wiltshire
The Royal Oak has been the heart of the village of Bishopstone since around 1650 and is now part of Helen Browning’s organic food and farming business centred on Eastbrook Farm. Organic livestock and arable farmer Helen Browning has been appointed as the new director of the Soil Association and will take up her new post in early spring 2011. For a more substantial cooked breakfast the charge will be £12.50 per person. Lunch and supper menus use the best meat and eggs from our own organic livestock, our own garden fruit, berries from our hedgerows, game from the farm, as the seasons dictate.
