Eco Print as a ‘one -stop -shop’
Print and everything else.
Eco Print are a 100% environmentally friendly alternative to traditional printing methods using recycled paper and card. Our new energy efficient digital printer needs less heat in the process and at the end of its use will be broken down and recycled. Our litho printer uses a plate-making process that is totally chemical free and uses vegetable based inks.
A recent addition to our service is the provision of banners made from biodegradable material – there is no loss of quality it is just when discarded the banner will start to degrade in weeks as opposed to years. We are proud to offset carbon generated in the postage of our printing and we use a telephone provider that carbon offsets and has a good environmental policy in place.
As an environmentally friendly print company you would expect this kind of thing, so what makes us stand out from the crowd?
Well, we have a full Graphic Design service available – our head designer boasts 30 plus years of experience and offers high end work ranging from stationery design to logo design, full branding and corporate I.D. We are also happy to develop your existing artwork and provide simpler designs to suit differing budgets.
Eco Print is sister company to Addison Design and both are based next to each other – this allows us to provide the full design service as mentioned above but also Website Design and Build.
Many of our regular clients benefit from our ‘one-stop-shop’ for all their branding, print and design needs. Our experience means that Eco Pint can build, maintain and protect your brand giving consistency to your marketing materials.

Our aim is to reduce the vast amounts of waste produced by printers and print finishers by working with local companies to find innovative ways to re-use their waste. To kick of the campaign, we will be producing 3,000 bespoke boxes for a London-based charity out of waste board, donated to us by a local printer. The charity will benefit from having their boxes produced for free and we will have diverted a large amount of unwanted paperboard from landfill!
Throughout the week we will be talking to printers, print finishers and frankly, anyone who needs innovative ideas for how to re-use rather than recycle! Any waste materials given to wewow by the printing sector we will aim to transform into unique, new products for our customers and at the end of the week, we will begin to calculate exactly how much waste we have successfully diverted from landfill!
This is just the beginning for wewow’s WOW campaign as we will continue to promote the message of reuse, reduce, recycle throughout the year, working closely with our local print partners to minimize the waste produced by our joint operations.

Ethical Wedding Staionery
At Eco Print we offer beautifully made wedding stationery designed to your taste.
We offer a bespoke design service and environmental printing.
All printing is done using organic based digital inks onto recycled papers and cards. Ranging from our standard white 100% recycled stock through to our exotic recycled Rhino Poo and Bier Label materials, together we are sure to find the right one for you.
Our Rhino Poo card is ideal for those looking for a card that has a good texture and feel to it. It is an earthy card with bits of ‘you know what’ (all sourced from UK safaris) visible, made from both post consumer waste paper and Rhino Poo.
The Bier Lager card has proved very popular for invitations. Available in a light cream flecked with brown this card is made from recycled beer mats and labels as well as some hops and yeast. What a great way to reuse resources!

Different but not that different
We know what you’re thinking: planet-friendly printing – it’s a great idea, but is it really as good as the normal way of doing things?
We think normal is overrated. If you want PROFESSIONAL & GREAT VALUE look no further.
Yes we use recycled paper, some of it made from rhino poo, and we source the latest green products and services, but we bet you can’t spot the difference.
Call James or Graham to find out more, or email us for an Eco-Quote.

Digital Printing
Eco Print specialises in short and medium run digital printing.
What makes us ‘Eco’?
All Eco Print printing is on recycled paper and card. Our preference is always paper made from 100% recycled post consumer waste. Eco Print completes the environmentally friendly print process by using inks developed using organic based polymers instead of chemical based polymers. These fuse at a lower temperature making the whole process more energy efficient. These inks give a 1st class quality finish with vibrant colours which do not fade or peel off..
The cost saving and environmental benefits of the digital process lie in the very nature of short run printing – there is no minimum order and as such, you order what you actually need using less consumables and causing less wastage.
if you only want 150 letter heads why pay for a 500 minimum order at a litho printers?
Our digital printer is energy efficient using less heat. The majority of parts are replaceable and recyclable. When the toner and image drums are used up they are returned to the provider and once refilled they are sent back out to be reused.
Digital print turn around is traditionally much quicker as there is no plate making process, less set up time and no print drying before trimming.

Eco Print is proud to be able to offer clients the new biodegradable banner. Made from Bioflex™, a biodegradable PVC material, these banners are printed using eco-solvent inks with no loss of quality nor length of life due to their biodegradable status. Perfect indoors or outdoors! When finished with, these can be put in your normal rubbish and will begin to degrade in landfill within just a few weeks.
During the general election , Eco Print provided banners for the Green party in their local campaign.
‘the banners looked great in town this morning, thanks again for your efforts and support with this…’ (Nick Startin Green Party Candidate for Salisbury)
So, when your company information changes or the logo has been altered you no longer have to worry that those out of date banners will clog up landfill.
Call us for quotes or design requirements and we will be happy to help.

At Eco Print we do more than just print…and there’s always something different going on!
We offer a full Graphic Design Service with over 35 years of experience. Some of us still remember using felt tip pens! This means your printing is always safe with us – as a company with extensive design experience, we know how important it is that your printing looks exactly right.
We also provide wedding Invitations printed on ‘exotic’ papers and card – bespoke design that will blow your mind! These are one of our biggest sellers and last year, one of our clients were so thrilled with them we got invited to the wedding!!
A sadder time for families to get together is at funerals, we recently designed and printed a beautiful orders of service – one for my late Grandmother which received many positive comments and our designer’s efforts were duly noted.
Something people are often surprised to find out is that we can provide biodegradable lamination. This is a very new process but produces stunning results every time and can give business cards an extra edge or make something suitable for outside use, even during the traditional British summer!
You can follow us on Twitter http://twitter.com/ecoprintuk and find us on Facebook – we often post discount codes and offers on there and we’re happy to answer any of your questions or provide free quotes.
You should also check out our Rhino Poo Pads! http://www.ecoprintuk.com/rhino-poo.php

Appearing
this month on the shelves in WH Smith and Borders nationwide, new eco-living
directory BOOK OF GREEN is the most comprehensive guide for everybody to
genuinely and easily green their lifestyles.
With
the general public currently becoming more receptive to living a more
eco-friendly life, this completely free guide points the consumer in the right
direction – it includes hundreds of approved ethical providers in a wide range
of sectors including business services, health and beauty, home and garden,
green energy, travel, parenting and food & drink. All the companies
in the directory are in some way mostly or completely environmentally friendly,
sustainable, fair trade, organic, ethical and socially responsible.
Book
of Green is intended to show everybody how to easily reduce their carbon
footprint, live a healthy lifestyle and make a personal positive
impact on the environment by integrating truly ethical products and services
into their daily home and family lives.
With
an initial print run of 30,000, the guide comes in a handy A5 format and is
printed in vegetable inks on 100% recycled paper. An online flip magazine
version is also available at www.bookofgreen.com
Book of Green will be available in WH Smiths this July, attached to the
front of Permaculture Magazine as well as distributed across the UK in high
street eco stores, online eco stores, and at events during the summer as well
as at the Eden Project and the Kent Eco Village, the Kent Show by The
Ecologist, July 17-19.
Book
of Green is co-founded by Sue Jueno (founder of Allthingseco) and Katie Keegan
(founder of One Green Earth),
whose combined experience of 6 years in the eco/ethical business arena
has given them the experience, knowledge and contacts to create a guide for
green living which everybody can trust.
“Being
green is more than reducing the threat of climate change, it’s also about
ethical trading and personal health. The companies found within Book of
Green provide solutions across all sectors through their products &
services to help build a positive foundation for your family’s future
generations,” says Katie Keegan.
“With
credit crunch in mind and a passion for promoting green shoot businesses we
have made Book of Green extremely affordable to advertisers and free to the
public to show off exceptional companies that are solving environmental
problems and that will be leading us into the future,” says Sue Jueno.
