Shared Interest Society Ltd
Shared Interest Society is a co-operative lending society working with community-based businesses in Africa and other continents to help them make the most of fair trade. With share capital of over £22 million invested by more than 8500 members, they are able to make a range of financial services available to fair trade producers and the businesses that buy, market and retail their goods.
Becoming a member of Shared Interest is easy. Anyone over the age of 16 may open an account with Shared Interest if they have a UK bank account. Minimum investment is £100, and maximum is £20,000.
