Great Elm Physick Garden
We produce organic herbal skincare of the highest quality, from scratch, with herbs from our garden if feasible. We concentrate on the traditions of the English country garden and use only ingredients found in it.
We work with a fully-qualified medical herbalist to ensure that we get the right formulations with the maximum therapeutic value. Our principle is the traditional herbalist's 'simples': use the best possible ingredients, and the fewest possible so that each ingredient is able to work to its full potential.
We are a small, independent company. This means we flexible. We can, for example, create bespoke lines for other companies with greater ease than others may.
We do not use parabens, artificial preservatives, synthetics, petrochemicals, or any other skin 'nasties'. We do not test on animals. Our environmental footprint is as light as we can make it. All our physicks are compliant with EU directives.
