The products Karavan stocks are produced from sustainable sources using non polluting methods - are conducive to lifestyle changes which encourage sustainable practices - Are fair trade - Transportation of goods is kept at a minimum, so goods are sourced locally where possible ( UK ); as a rule air freighted goods are not stocked - Products should be recycled, recyclable or biodegradable - packaging should be minimal.
Suppliers are expected to have strong environmental and fair trade policies of their own which form an intrinsic part of their day to day operations.
Karavan undertakes to adhere to best practice in all its in its own business activities.
