Smartly Green Ltd
Smartly Green Ltd starts from the position that it is crucial that the hearts and minds of the population are engaged if there is to be any hope of securing an environmental balance. Reseach suggests (see recent DEFRA reports) that we are still a long way from achieving this and Smartlygreen.com is an attempt to address this.
Its multi-phased approach starts by introducing people to the notion of their own carbon footprint, and actually providing a way to offset it, each time they shop through Smartlygreen.com. We work with PURE - a charity which provides DEFRA approved, Kyoto compliant, Gold Standard carbon credits.
Subsequent phases will, amongst things, promote an increasing number of environmentally sound and socially responsible products and services supported by the social network component of the site.
