Robert Wilson’s ‘Ceylon’ Teas is a family of planters & agents that have been working in Sri Lanka since 1840.
Our ETHICAL approach is to source, design, package & ship from within the island to support its economy. We also take out very individual tours to the area (Feb 2009) & promote the industry on our website at www.wilstea.com
We work very closely with 14 estates to procure manufacture to our requirement during the two periods of the year when the highest quality seasonal teas are produced, creating the famous district vintages like wine.
We have 3 first class Biodynamic & Organic single estate teas.
Since 1999 the teas have won 32 awards in London and also the Great Taste Awards Speciality Importer of the Year 2005.
