Adupo
In the Maasai language, ‘a-dupo’ means ‘to prosper’, which sums up the purpose of this enterprise perfectly.
Adupo sells a wide range of Fair Trade gift items, including jewellery, blankets, batiks and more purchased directly from the Producer, Michael Mwaniki Nogo, in Njoro, Kenya.
All revenue generated from sales is reinvested in the company, either in further stock or marketing, with Michael also sharing a percentage of the profits.
The main objective of Adupo, run in association with ABle Volunteers International Fund, is to help Michael build a sustainable business as we firmly believe in the principles of 'Trade, not Aid'.
