Cornmill Lodge
A small family run vegetarian/vegan guest house within fifteen minutes walk from York Minster. Three en-suite rooms, two double and a twin, priced at £25 to £40 per person per night.
Breakfast is organic wherever possible. Apart from eggs and dairy milk, all other food is suitable for vegans, including buckwheat pancakes, sausages, burgers and tofu.
Teas and coffees are fairtrade and organic. Other dietary requirements such as diabetic and glutenfree are catered for.
All toiletries are vegan, usually Faith in Nature or Suma. We recycle whatever we can, and use recycled products.
Born in Yorkshire, the owner, Jen, knows a lot about the county and is always willing to advise guests about the many attractions of the city and surrounding area.
