Environmentally friendly design is at the heart of all the beautiful organic baby products, childrens clothing and funky baby clothes we sell at mimimyne.
Sustainability is built into every stage of the manufacture of all our organic cotton clothes for children: we stock clothing suitable for a baby boy or girl and all kinds of designer kids clothes that are kind to your child's skin and to the environment.
We also sell sustainably produced, funky kids furniture that is made of recycled cardboard or FSC approved wood and a wide range of eco friendly toys including eco friendly board games, recycled cardboard toys, organic baby toys and organic baby gift boxes.
All our products are either recycled, recyclable or biodegradable, produced from renewable or sustainable resources (eg FSC approved paper), certified organic, Fair Trade or hand-made in the UK by designer-makers.
You can offset your carbon emissions for each delivery and we donate 1% of profits to a local charity, the Spitalfields City Farm (www.spitalfieldscityfarm.org).
We are a member of the Federation of Small Businesses and a registered Green Achiever. We aim to help you keep your carbon footprint small and help your children grow up green!

Mimimyne is the trading name of Me Me Mine Ltd. Me Me Mine Ltd was set up with the express intention of promoting sustainably produced and environmentally aware modern design for children in the UK and Europe. All our products are either handmade in the UK by designer-makers, produced from a sustainable source (eg FSC forestry products), created from recycled materials (recycled vintage fabric is used by several of our designers), made of organic materials (eg organic cotton) or Fair Trade (providing a fair living wage for workers in the country of manufacture). We have tried to consider the environment at every step when sourcing these products, and we hope you – and the planet – will breathe a sigh of relief when you and your children use them!
Me Me Mine Ltd aims to be a carbon neutral website by the end of our first year's trading. However, for the first year we are offering our customers the chance to offset their own carbon emissions when booking a delivery. You get the opportunity to offset the emissions caused by your delivery so that the transaction is completely transparent; you know how much it costs and where it is going. Meanwhile, we will be donating 1% of our profits to an environmental charity every year. The chosen charity is currently Spitalfields City Farm (www.spitalfieldscityfarm.org).
Our office uses low energy lightbulbs wherever possible and has a low-energy computer. We recycle everything we can including batteries and printer cartridges and our food waste goes into the composter. We minimise carbon emissions and paper waste by using email and web conferencing wherever possible, and we don't use cars for business use but stick to public transport and our trusty bike. We use recycled paper for printing. Mimimyne.com uses green hosting and our business banking (the Cooperative Bank) and business insurance (Naturesave) are all provided by environmentally friendly and ethical organisations. Mimimyne's web designer (3lotusmedia.com) also operates from an environmentally friendly building and like us is dedicated to sustainable business practices. We will continue to audit our business practices to make sure that all our activities are as low-carbon as possible, to keep you and the planet happy!
