Ethical and Environmental Policy
As a provider of environmental compliance services, the management and employees of Clarity Environmental Ltd are committed to conducting every aspect of their business with the utmost respect and care for the environment.To minimise environmental impacts concerning our activities, products and services, we shall:
1: Comply with all applicable environmental legislation, statutory guidance and codes of practice at European, national and local levels, and recognise any other relevant requirements that may be placed upon us by our customers.
2: Assess in advance where possible, any environmental impact resulting from business operations and adjust plans accordingly - taking all measures that are reasonably practical to:
- reduce waste at source;
- re-use waste components where is it safe and practicable to do so;
- recover/recycle those fractions of the waste stream where on outlet is available;
and
- dispose of final wastes by the most environmentally suitable means.
3: Adopt the practice of responsible energy management through reduced consumption - controlling the use of energy, transport and natural resources, and encourage energy efficiency throughout the organisation.
4: Educate and motivate employees to carry out tasks in an environmentally responsible manner by providing the information, instruction and training necessary to communicate the importance of environmental awareness.
5: Ensure that all incidents and non-compliance situations that may arise are reported, recorded with route causes identified to ensure that corrective and preventive measures are implemented.
6: Favour products and services that reduce pollution waste and encourage recycling - including adopting a policy of 'green procurement', taking environmental factors into account in all purchasing and supplier contracts; and working with these suppliers and contractors to promote positive environmental actions and the principle of sustainable development whereby the current needs of the company will not compromise the abilities of future generations to meet their own needs in accordance with our stated objectives.
