Ecosheek is an employee owned company specialising in the sourcing of ethically produced organic cotton bags. What really sets our bags apart, however, is the quality of design and superior construction. Every bag is hand finished on site and samples checked at our office in the Cotswolds.
We offer a number of designs which can easily be customised with your company's logo. Bags can be made in any colour using a range of vegetable dies.
Alternatively, we produce a number of EcoSheek bags which are ideal for organic food shops, book shops and, increasingly, for gift shops.
Ecosheek bags are made from certified organic cotton in India. We source our bags from a women's co-operative and a mill which engages in the highest standard of labour practices. As the company grows, we intend to work with Social Enterprise to ensure that employment opportunities in the UK are directed towards disadvantaged groups.
We have an active carbon offset policy and support a number of environmental initiatives.

Ecosheek bags are made from certified organic cotton in India.The following are a few of the benefits of organic cotton:
- Fertiliser and pesticide use in cotton farming derives mainly from petroleum and is unsustainable
- Pesticides damage people and the environment
- Organic farming promotes biodiversity
- Organic farming enables small farmers to compete with large farmers, especially in the USA where cotton growth is heavily subsidised
- Organic cotton sales help to reduce trade and income disparities between developed and emerging economies
We source our bags from a women's co-operative and a mill which engages in the highest standard of labour practices. As the company grows, we intend to work with Social Enterprise to ensure that employment opportunities in the UK are directed towards disadvantaged groups. For example, we are already engaged with a project in North London providing employment opportunities for young homeless people and care leavers.
