British 'Eco Chic' design pioneer, Emily Readett-Bayley has been designing,manufacturing and selling her unique collection of handmade wooden decorations and furniture since 1990.
The collection includes our original POSH Graffiti alphabets,numbers and symbols complimented by a range of finely carved decorations on ribbons.Finishes include metallic folis, chalky white gesso, hand painted floral designs and smooth natural wood.
We also salvage old teak to make huge dining tables and other furniture and produce a range of white washed faux driftwood furniture, both suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Emily's design motifs include hearts, animals and botanicals and have a very British feel but the craftsmanship of her wood carvers is unmistakeable.They have sold worldwide and customers include Begdorf Goodman in New York, Gallerie Lafayette in Paris and Harrods in London.
Ethical and Environmental Policy
Britsh Design,Traditional Skills, Eco Ethics. Emily has been working directly with 3 small groups of craftsmen in the same village in the foothils of central Bali for the past 15 years. Here, traditional carving and painting skills have been passed down from one generation to another for hundreds of years. Our POSH Graffiti and most of the decorations are made from a fast growing "albizia" wood and our teak furniture is made from reclaimed teak.
