Galway Gemstones is a small company based in County Galway, Ireland, trading since 1984 and specialising affordable gemstone jewellery from contemporary designers. Our business is run with our social and environmental responsibility at the forefront and so we are now concentrating on Connemara Marble, found exclusively in the West of Ireland which is sourced from family owned quarries near Galway Bay. We can follow this wonderful stone from the quarry through the whole manufacturing process to the end product and be 100% confident of its sustainability and collective impact. There's not a huge variety of jewellery to buy on our website as much of what we make are one off or custom made pieces. We also trade at the famous Galway Market on Saturdays only where you can pick up online orders and see a much larger range of jewellery.
