IELTA
The International Education, Language and Training Association (IELTA) is a not-for-profit organisation registered with the SAR Government of Macau, which has been established to expand and develop the quality and range of educational services in Macau and China. We do this by bringing together educators, professionals and volunteers interested in making a difference through the creation and sponsorship of visionary education programs and community enterprise projects, especially in areas of high social need.
Ethical and Environmental Policy
IELTA was founded by volunteers committed to economic and social development through education and training. It seeks to build social and spiritual capital through the creation of educational programs and service opportunities which break down barriers of prejudice and ignorance and promote the concept of world citizenship. IELTA seeks to actively demonstrate its commitment to the highest ethical standards by a culture of openness and transparency in all its projects and management practices.
It is strictly not-for-profit and relies entirely on voluntary contributions and grants to finance its projects. All project budgets, incomes and expenditures are published in full and scrutinized by oversight boards and association members.
