SuperGreenMe is a 'Facebook for Greenies'. It is uses online multi-media to harness eco enthusiasm, showcase environmental conservation, and create a network of sustainable living collaboration. Environmental Organisations (such as Clean Up Australia and Steve Irwin’s Wildlife Warriors) connect with members and virally promote conservation campaigns. Students use the site to publish research, profile their capabilities and broaden their network, while the benefits for individuals and businesses are endless. In addition to the social networking element, the site has over 1,000 articles published in the ‘Ecopedia’ section (anyone can become a publisher) which presents sustainable living information, issues awareness, national park and animal profiles.
