Aarati Festival
The Aarati Festival of light has been set up bring together the diverse aspects of environmentally conscious, "green" and healthy lifestyle choices.
This years event features 6 themed areas- Wilderness Skills(Bushcraft and tracking), Yoga and Tai Chi, Food, Environment, Health and Healing, and the Childrens area. More than 60 contributors have given their time to create a packed timetable. In addition to the themed areas we have a variety of entertainment and entertainers, demonstrations of traditional skills, environmentally conscious market traders, and fun and games.
The event is 100% vegetarian.
We are raising money for the Global Natural Health Care Trust, a small Cornish based charity which achieves big results in helping to alieviate suffering in the refugee townships in South Africa.(www.gnhct.org)

The Aarati Festival is dedicated to promoting individual and collective responsibility for the continuing improvement of the awareness of the necessity for humanity to be responsible caretakers of this wonderful planet which sustains us all.

The Aarati team aim to engender through the event a rare sense of tangible camaraderie amongst those of similar principles and to strengthen the sense of community between us all.
