Action 21
Action 21 promotes sustainable living to people in Warwickshire through positive practical action. We work for people and the environment at a local level, working in constructive partnership with other organisations and individuals. We aim to make greener living easier to do in ways which create a better quality of life. Our work centres on food, waste, transport and energy issues and we are proud to have over 60 volunteers actively involved (and a wider supporter base).
Action 21 is a social enterprise and a not-for-profit company. Our funding is self generated and we also receive funds from councils, other public bodies, charitable trusts and contributions from our membership.

Ethical Policy
Action 21 does not have a formal ethical policy.
Our environmental policy requires all staff and volunteers to conduct all company business in ways that minimise the impact on the environment.
Action 21 is a not for profit organisation and all activities are motivated by the desire to help the local community to live more sustainably. Most Action 21 projects are carried out largely by volunteers. These include:
- the promotion of allotments and cooking using fresh locally sourced ingredients.
- assisting people to reduce the carbon emissions generated by their homes
- promoting the use of sustainable transport
- operating a re-use shop, including testing second hand electrical goods for resale and refurbishing unwanted bicycles.
Action 21 endeavours to be a responsible employer of paid staff and volunteers.
