Action for Sustainable Living
AfSL aims to help people to live more sustainably by focusing on the small steps we can each take in our daily lives towards achieving bigger changes in the wider world. We take a holistic view of the changes needed to bring about sustainable living and, as such, work with individuals, groups, communities, schools, businesses, colleges and universities.
Ethical Policy
We take a holistic approach to sustainability. We cover social, environmental and economic issues. We set-up and promote Fair trade organisations. We buy and recommend fairtrade products. We recycle, reuse stationary, office furniture and all materials possible. We promote sustainable practices in businesses and schools through our small steps programs. We work in communities with a bottom up and inside out approach to development of projects. We are volunteer led. We have comprehensive policies covering our ethical operations, equal opportunities and other areas.
