Aden Architecture is a young, experimental venture, established to provide ethical clients with an alternative in the consulting field. We believe that clients should have choice. A choice not to cross relate their projects with other works that run counter to core beliefs.

Financially we promote 'clean cascade' principles to achieve this. When appointing Aden Architecture Clients can be assured that their fees do not cross-subsidises unethical projects or organisations.

Our services deliver design, development and management solutions that give benefit whilst minimising detrimental effects on environment, community and society.

Sectors of activity include residential, civic, education, community, regeneration, health...

We do not work in sectors related to military, defence, armaments, nuclear power, heavy polluters, intensive farming, 'adult services' etc.

We actively support the social model of inclusion, inclusive design and access for all. We strive to support equal opportunities and diversity.

Aden Architecture provides viable solutions equal to those of commercial consultancies; within managed and monitored budget regimes, and without contributing to unethical business practice.

We promote and encourage the use of products and materials with known chains of custody, and actively encourage the development of community projects with the participation of that community.

Through our client-side project management service we actively encourage the use of local supplies and suppliers.

The process is an iterative one, we welcome input and comment from others on how to improve develop and expand the path we want to travel.
