Akalico is a branch of ZHW (Zen Health and Wellbeing), an award winning company, and we are proud of the fact that all artisans are treated respectfully and fairly. The Akalico range is British Association of Fair Trade Shops (BAFTS) Accredited.
Ethical Policy
My suppliers own the work shops that the artisans work in. If this information remains confident I will be more than happy to tell you who they are, just call or email. The artisans are given access to training, receive fair wages, work in ideal conditions and my suppliers belong to the British Association of Fair Trade Shops.
I will be printing all of my promotional marketing material on recycled paper. I will only work with printers who have an environmental policy.
I want to make a profit, but will not do this by exploiting others or the environment.
