Aspara’s range of accessories, ethically produced in Cambodia by small silk weaving communities, takes fair trade fashion to a new, elegant level. Taking traditional patterns and techniques, Aspara works closely with weaving communities and new designers to interpret and translate ancient artforms into silk creations that are truly international. The elements may be traditional but the complete design is contemporary and elegant. Created by 28 year old Katy Pullen in 2008, a former UN advisor and textile devotee from London, Aspara launched its first collection in autumn 2009.
