We regonise that our work contributes to emissions to air and water and the generation of waste. It is our aim to reduce the environmental impacts of our business and to operate in an environmentally responsible manner.Our commitment
Design solution
� The design solution should always strive for using least resources and having the least damaging impact on the environment
Save resources
� Use electronic rather than paper based communications
� Reuse and recycle paper and stationery items in the studio environment
� Encourage clients to rather have digital proofs instead of wet proofs where possible
Choice of materials
� Only specify paper that is either recycled or paper from sustainable forestry (FSC)
� Using only recycled paper during the design process
� Specify only materials from sources that have least impact to the environment
Choice of printers
� Only work with printers who are whether ISO140001 or FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified and offer volatile organic compound (VOC) emission-free printing
Reduce fuel consumption
� Avoiding unneccessary journeys
� Doing all journeys by public transport, cycling or walking
� Making this policy known to all people working with Composite Projects
� we work towards the Acorn Environmental Management Scheme (BS8555) phase 1 and have accordingly produced our Environmental Policy which outlines our environmental commitments.
