Boutiko is an online boutique devoted to selling ethically sourced gifts from the UK and abroad. We offer all kinds of gifts and treats from handmade vintage style wooden signs and handmade organic scented candles, to stylish recycled leather stationery and fair trade embroidered silk accessories.
All our gifts are both intrinsically and ethically beautiful!
We offer next day delivery and free gift wrapping and are constantly expanding our range to include the most gorgeous gifts from good places.
Ethical Policy
Boutiko was launched because I found it difficult to buy gifts that were both ethically sourced and in keeping with the diverse tastes and styles of the modern world. I don't think there should be a choice between buying goods that are in themselves beautiful and buying goods that have been created in a healthy environment where the workers are fairly paid and treated. And where possible, products are sourced locally to reduce carbon emissions and support local businesses.
All the products sourced for Boutiko are done so under strict criteria- they must be as many of the following as possible; fair trade, handmade, organic, recycled, sustainable, or locally made. I research my suppliers to be sure that their methods follow the same guidelines. Within the business, everything that can be is recycled or reused, including packaging, paper and ink cartridges. Appliances are properly switched off and energy saving light bulbs are used.
