EcoConnect
EcoConnect is a green technology advocate. EcoConnect’s mission is to champion and support innovative green technologies and services and connect them with commerce and industry. Our main objective is to form the UK’s most progressive support community to help enable the faster take-up of green technologies by the business mainstream. EcoConnect is a social enterprise and not-for-profit organisation.
EcoConnect’s goals are to:
- Create a green technology showcase, business incubator and mentoring community with the first centre to be based in Richmond, West London.
- Establish an online portal. Called ‘The EcoSystem’ it is an online business community and green information hub which will provide technology news, partnership opportunities, investment links, business reviews, jobs postings, connections to ‘who’s who’ in the industry, and “EcoTV“ a video showcase for existing and prototype green technologies.
- Facilitate regular green networking events across the UK as well as support and enable other organisations with the tools and support to do the same in their local communities.
- Connect investment and resources with green technologists seeking to fund and commercialise their offerings.
Ethical Policy
Our values are : Innovate, inform, inspire. As humankind develops a greater awareness and understanding of its impact on the environment, there is an increasingly urgent need to find ways of limiting and repairing the damage we do. We at EcoConnect believe that mankind’s ingenuity - largely responsible for environmental problems – can be harnessed successfully to provide long-term solutions. However, many innovative green technologies that could form the backbone of good environmental strategy find it a struggle to gain support. EcoConnect helps these technologies and the entrepreneurs and organisations behind them come to light, securing introductions, educating, linking to investment, providing ongoing support and enthisiasticly showcasing green technology options to the business community at large. We strongly advocate and believe in live by a sharing, inclusive and supportive culture. "Doing the right things" are as if not more important that "doing things right". We actively seek out ways to create 'win-win' scenarios with customers, suppliers, partners, supporters and other stakeholders. We do not believe in competition. Only in opportunities to collaborate with organisations of all types. We actively practice what we preach, demonstrating best practices with respect to caring for the environment, our community and each other.
