Ethical and Environmental Policy
Ecobee was set up as a worker's co-operative and is not-for-profit. We opted for this model as it encorporates principles of equality and fairness into the very foundations of the business. We use renewable energy, recycle waste, and are actively seeking renewably powered data centres in the UK for our servers.
We have environmental, social, human rights and employment policies (see our website) which we will review on a yearly basis.
Wherever possible we seek to use ethiically guided suppliers and work with ethcially guided customers. Ethically guided suppliers include the Co-operative Bank, The Phone Coop, GreenISP and The Green Stationary Company.
