Ecological Hosting is an ethically run, reliable and responsible Internet hosting company. We are a friendly, family run, vegetarian owned small business, providing services with a personal touch.

All our computers operate on electricity supplied from renewable sources and the data centre we use runs entirely on solar power.

We were the first and for a long while the only UK company (to our knowledge) offering hosting based in a data centre facility powered entirely by solar energy.

All our hosting systems are custom installed by ourselves to offer a service we truly know inside out.

We can offer hosting accounts of all sizes from very small web sites up to dedicated servers. We also register and maintain domain names and offer web site development and many other services as needed for our clients.

For the technically minded; our main shared hosting servers run Red Hat Enterprise Linux and the Apache web server offering true enterprise-class stability. We also offer Windows based hosting if required (e.g. for .NET and ASP sites).
