Cotton for clothing seems to be a natural product. However, the production is one of the most polluting farming activities in the world. The labour conditions of mainly young girls and women in the clothing industry are often very poor. Cheap clothes only are feasible when we forget the labour conditions of the producers, as well as the compensation for the environmental impact. At Ethical Classics, we are convinced a difference can be made. Our clothes are made in full respect for the producers and for the environment. We work according to four basic business principles:
