We are an adviser and installer of solar electrical panels and believe it is important to look at the big green picture when offering our service.
We minimise the environmental impact of our everyday working practices, source the most environmentally friendly products, and offer a value driven, honest and reliable service. Unlike much of today’s corporate world we don’t believe in quick profits. These often come at the expense of quality, customer service, employee conditions, corporate responsibility and the environment.

We only install the most eco-friendly solar products.
We are reliable and honest. We offer free advice without any expectation and won't install a solar system unless you have the right location for one.
We run our company vehicles on environmentally sound waste vegetable oil.
While we provide full on-site surveys, we do all initial surveys from our offices using satellite imagery - less driving means less wasted vegetable oil.
We install a complimentary OWL electricity monitoring system for all our customers. The OWL is an award winning system that helps you reduce your electricity bills and carbon footprint.

Ethical Solar accepts responsibility for the harmful effects its operations have on both the local and global environment and is committed to minimising them. In short, we aim to live up to our name. We aim to achieve this through the following measures:
Convert and run all company vehicles on waste cooking oil. Keep business travel to a minimum.
Research and source products based on the retailers' environmental record and policy. We will take into consideration energy used to create the products, as well as transport miles.
Communicate by email whenever possible and use recycled paper from sustainable sources. Include pertinent information on the company web site rather than through printed promotional materials.
Recycle all waste materials that can be recycled and use the Freecycle network.
Donate 5% of our profits to Solar Aid (www.solaraid.org), an organisation that supports solar energy in the developing world and runs educational projects about solar energy in the UK.
Host our web site with a 'green' hosting company.
Use energy-efficient devices (e.g., energy-saving light bulbs and energy-efficient computers) for business practices.
Register with Mail Preference Service to receive less junk mail. Abide by and promote sustainable, fair, honest and responsible business practices.
Review and revise our environmental policy on an annual basis.
Maintain our accreditation from the Ethical Company Organisation.
Lead the field in sustainable practices and encourage retailers and those we work with to adopt similar environmental principles as those listed here.
