Ethics Girls believes that women & their shopping can make a difference in terms of people & planet. With a shop packed full of the best in ethical and green products and with regular features on the issues, Ethics Girls is designed to keep everyone ahead in the world of ethical consumerism.
Our special interests are ethical fashion & accessories. We concentrate on Fairtrade, Organic, Recycled, No Nasties and UK made. Our additional rules are that everything has to be beautiful & stylish and have a use.
We are a coop, with membership made up of staff, consumers and suppliers. This allows everything involved in our business to have a share in the company. We will be running as an open brand / open sourced business so everyone can roll their sleeves up & get stuck into to making Ethics Girls an inspiring place to be.
Ethical and Environmental Policy
Ethics Girls is a company that puts ethics and values at the heart of the business. We support organics, Fairtrade, UK made, recycled and natural products. We only sell ethical/eco friendly products. Our online magazine only covers ethical/green issues and we only take advertising from green & ethical companies.
We have a carbon management strategy and each year will work to improve our actions on an incremental basis. We will be promoting products made in the UK, as in general they have lower emissions than imports and we will be tackling the shipping journeys in the shopping process.
We will at all times work towards being a challenging and innovative retailer - we do not think we should do as others do. We think now is the time to think in new ways and experiment with making business sustainable in the long term.
