Frank Water ltd
An ethically led, not-for-profit business, FRANK aims to supply the UK’s demand for bottled water in a socially responsible way – by giving the net profits (100%) to five-filter technology clean water projects around the world (through the charity Frank Water Projects).
Based in the south west and using artesian spring water from Devon, every litre of Frank Water sold in the UK provides at least 200 litres of safe drinking water.
Both still and sparkling water is available in 500ml (PET), 330ml (glass) and 750ml (glass). We supply everyone from corporates and restaurants to cafes and juice bars, and offer a discount on bulk orders.

Ethical and Environmental Policy
We aim to be 'frank' - open and transparent - in all our working practices.
We are determined to be as ecologically sound as possible. We do this by using the most recyclable plastic and by using local spring water. The water derives from an artesian spring that has a minimum impact on the environment. The water naturally rises to the surface, without the use of boreholes or pumps. Using a local supply of water (Devon) minimizes the carbon debt caused by transportation over long distances.
FRANK bottles are high quality PET bottles and the consumer is encouraged to recycle. FRANK water has been researching the use of biodegradable bottles (PLA) since 2004. At present we cannot source non GM derived PLA. FRANK water does not wish to encourage GM farming so continues to research suitable alternatives.
Frank works with local companies wherever possible. For all London based deliveries we use Elite Worldwide, the first carbon neutral courier company. We actively seek out local distributors to reduce the need for multiple long distance deliveries.
It is our belief that UK's water supply is suitable for home consumption and do not wish to exploit this 'potential market'. We seek to supply 'water on the go' only and so will not sell large multipacks through the supermarkets.
We operate an equal opportunity approach towards both staff and volunteers. Our volunteers make up a large group and we recruit them on the basis of their enthusiasm as well as skills. We belief it is a benefit to the organisation that they come from wide and diverse backgrounds.
