Ethical and Environmental Policy
I take my environmental responsibility very seriously. I am committed to reduce the harmful effects on the environment and I am undertaking the following actions to achieve this. - reducing waste - reusing materials at every opportunity - aligning with green suppliers - recycling - eco cushions * Eco cushion cover is made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottle felt. * gabbea logo is embroidered into the back of the cushion instead of applying outer label. * All eco cushions are sent out in biodegradable mailing bags. These bags are made from biothene which degrades polythene under the influence of light & heat. Because the material degrades there is no need for it to be recycled. It is a material which can be reused multiple times and then left to degrade afterwards. The inside packing is clear biodegradable bag, that biodegrades in a compost or landfill. When purchasing a felt eco cushion, you are making the environmentally correct choice. I am proud to be using eco-fi felt fabric. - striving for continuous improvements
