We hold cotton & jute bags in stock, which can be printed (here in the UK) in as little as 10 days. Larger quantities can be imported for the price benefit.
Ethical Policy
Gogreenerbags.co.uk was set up to offer people the chance to buy re-usable bags instead of paper & plastic which as we all know are just 1 time use. All the factories we deal with are thoroughly checked out. Our main supplier in China has been visited & has a very admirable ethical policy. They get involved with community projects & the pay rates are above average for the region. The Indian factories have also been chosen for their ethical policies, although admittedly I have not been there myself. I do intend to in the not so distant future.
Instead of having all our bags printed in the Far East, we do bring in container loads (to lessen impact on the environment) of Cotton Bags & keep them, at a local screen printer. This provides UK jobs as well as giving us the flexibility our customers need - also it means we do not have to airfreight urgent jobs.
Gogreenerbags.co.uk is a division of Templecoombe Ltd - who have been trading for over 10 years in the industry. We are an equal opportunities employer, offering good rates of pay & well above the minimum holiday entitlements. Our staff stay with us for years & years, which I think says it all.
We also donate to various charities, especially if our customers ask for sponsorship, we nearly always oblige. Unwanted bags are donated to a local charity "MK Play Association", they have been given miss-prints & old stock - to be honest I don't know exactly what they do with them, but they do distribute them to various places, thus negating the need to buy plain bags.
