Graphic Green

Graphic Green creates contemporary, innovative design solutions for print, web and exhibitions. From flyers to annual reports, brand design to brochures we can help your organisation create a big visual impression with a small carbon footprint.

We seek to work in a way that minimises the impact on the environment. Energy used by the business comes from on site photovoltaic panels and two wind turbines. We have links with environmentally aware printers and even our web site is hosted by a company with green credentials.

Ethical Policy

Care for the environment is demonstrated by living and working from the Hockerton Housing Project. Electrical power is generated from clean renewable sources; the on site photovoltaics and two windturbines. We are not connected to mains water so this is collected on site and our sewage is processed using a reed bed system.

Thinking and working in a sustainable environment for the last 6 years has meant that I have made links with other like minded businesses and continue to search these out. As technology and theories on sustainability develop, I try to keep my business up to date.

For example, whenever possible, I work with printers who are ISO14001 certified or those that use recycled paper and vegetable dye inks.

Working largely solo in my home office I don't at present employ anyone, however, I often team up with others on larger projects, who are like minded, ethical and fair. For example, a substantial amount of my work comes via the public sector where such issues are necessarily addressed.

The vast majority of my work is conducted over the phone and internet. When tavel is necessary, I use public transport and/or a bike and even have access to an electric car.
