Indalo Art
We design, manufacture and sell lucky Indalo figures, charm stones and pebble jewellery based on the good luck symbol of the Indalo - a rainbow-man figure made famous by the ancient Indian tribes like the Sioux, the Hopi and the Cree, and the neolithic civilisations of southern Spain some 4,500 years ago.
Our products make the perfect gift to say Good Luck, Best Wishes or With Love and particularly appeal to people interested in more holistic and ethical lifestyles. For corporate gifts and business promotion, we can make an Indalo design in your chosen style and/or corporate colours.
Our stones are sourced in the region of the Indalo caves and sorted to select the best possible pebbles for the particular item of jewelry or charmstone products (bookmarks, fridge magnets, paperweights, etc). We then add the good luck symbol of the Indalo to provide that extra emotional appeal of a lucky charm which is then crafted into necklaces or other pebble jewelry and holistic gifts. Because nature itself has produced the raw stones over millions of years, and each one is then hand-painted and hand-crafted, every piece is a work of art and unique.
The Indalo caves at Velez Blanco in Almeria, were declared a National Historical Monument in 1924 - and are now a site of UNESCO World Heritage. The Indalo is the symbol of the whole region of Almeria and, in particular, a small village called Mojacar - close to where we are based in Andalucia.

Ethical and Environmental Policy
Each and every lucky charmstone or item of pebble jewellery we produce is NATURAL RODUCT. It is hand-crafted, hand-painted and unique, as well as being environmentally-friendly.
Our presentation boxes are supplied by fellow Ethical Junction member Tiny Box company in England which only offers recycled and eco-friendly packaging. Inside the box, each product is carefully packed in an attractive bed of wood-wool which is 100% natural and environmentally-friendly - being manufactured from well-seasoned, low-resin softwood, harvested from renewable forests within the United Kingdom using low-energy production methods. The box is then tied-off with attractive fronds of raffia sourced from re-generating palms on the island of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean.
Our charm stones are all sourced locally from sustainable resources and we believe in using environmentally friendly methods where at all possible - making the perfect gift for people who are ethically-minded, environmentally-friendly and ecological.
Indalo Art is involved with the art culture of Almeria, Spain, not only through the Indalo symbol but also by being active within local society. In particular, we are involved in teaching art, and supporting a local centre for people with learning difficulties that offers educational and development programmes, cultural, sport and leisure activities, ceramics, art, theatre, gardening, information technology and carpentry workshops to handicapped people in the area in order to provide them with more independence and a better quality of life.
