Ethical Policy

Lejurra cares for the environment by buying wholesale products that fit one of the following four criteria: � Produced using organic (preferably) or natural, biodegradable materials not harmful to the environment � Produced in an environmentally friendly way � Reduced or no chemical additives or preservatives � Where possible, sourced from local (European) manufacture/production (to reduce the carbon footprint) Our focus is however, to source products as locally as possible. For example, our own branded gift boxes are from UK based box makers (2 of 3 are from Sheffield, where we too are based). When buying overseas products, we look for evidence from our suppliers of fair trade in particular if the products, such as many of our baby clothes, are from India or China. Another example of Lejurra's environmental conscience is that we re-cycle packing materials sent to us by our suppliers, by using them in our internet sales to consumers (for example, we have not bought bubble wrap since trading began in December!).
