The Lorna Young Foundation is a registered charity that supports marginalised small-scale farmers in Africa, Asia and Latin America to learn marketing skills, build business capacity and add value to their products. Helping farmer cooperatives to get specialist market advice, discover opportunities for diversification, access their local markets and break the stranglehold of multinational companies.

The Foundation was set up in memory of Lorna Young, a pioneer of fair trade in the UK and the first Sales and Marketing Manager for Cafe Direct
