Ethical and Environmental Policy
All out products are sourced from WFTO accredited organisations so that we can be sure that the products we buy are bona fide Fair Trade. Our business is also operated within the guidelines of fair trade including fair pricing, people care and respect for not only us, but our suppliers and customers alike and of course transparency, which is at the heart of Fair Trade.
Manumit is also a member of BAFTS (The British Association for Fair Trade Shops) and is a recognised BAFTS importer.
We do our best to be environmentally friendly and are trying to educate our suppliers that we do not need a vast amount of packaging. We send our products out in fabric jewellery pouches which are reusable so that we are not sending out vast amounts of plastic too! All our waste is recycled where possible and we are actively seeking to improve this continually.
