"Not by assertion but by lives of faithful commitment". Quaker Faith & Practice
I am interested in how contemporary workplace culture places pressure on workers to adopt an imposed ethical frame and how far - Quakers in this case - are able to maintain the integrity of their faith.
I am really interested in inter-relationships in the workplace and how people's ethics are under pressure to become 'professionalised'. In practical terms, which takes precedence: the incentivised ethics of the workplace or a visible spirituality.
By meeting people virtually or otherwise I hope to gain some insights into the diversity of experience in the workplace and the role of ethics and hopefully faith at work.
