At Naturally Gifted we aim to support the smaller industries which are shadowed by the multi-nationals. Supporting local suppliers like the many small cottage industries that exist around the UK, as well as supporting developing countries and the Fair Trade suppliers. Much like what the organic market has done for the food industry - creating fresh natural food without any chemical manipulation - we aim to provide the same for the gift market and other commodities that are equally important to our daily lives. Not only do we have high enviromental standards but our customer services policy is held in high regard with our growing customer base.

We only buy from reputable wholesalers that are members of Fair Trade organisations like BAFTS, IFAT. If we are supporting family run cottage industries here in the UK we like them to have been in business for more than 3 years and illustrate their production process. We like to see a minimal out sourcing of manufacturing. Lastly we like them to support a local charity.
Naturally Gifted Environmental Policy Statement
Naturally Gifted is a mail order business which whilst trading aims to reduce its environmental impact. Any mail order business consumes a certain amount of paper, electricity and (through delivery services) leaves a carbon footprint. Being a business which conducts its sales entirely online may reduce pollution in one area but creates problems in others. To make reductions is a challenge for everyone. At Naturally Gifted we make this a high priority. Protection of the environment in which we live and operate is part of Naturally Gifted’s values and principles and we consider it to be sound business practice. Care for the environment is one of our key responsibilities and an important part of the way in which we do business.
In this policy statement we commit our company to:
- Complying with all relevant environmental legislation, regulations and approved codes of practice;
- Protecting the environment by striving to prevent and minimise our contribution to pollution of land, air, and water;
- Each year we strive to decrease our carbon footprint by offsetting our carbon emissions. Our aim is to be carbon neutral.
- We strive to be powered by renewable energy sources.
- Seeking to keep wastage to a minimum and maximise the efficient use of materials and resources;
- Managing and disposing of all waste in a responsible manner;
- Providing training for our staff so that we all work in accordance with this policy and within an environmentally aware culture,
- Regularly communicating our environmental performance to our employees and other significant stakeholders;
- Developing our management processes to ensure that environmental factors are considered during planning and implementation;
- Monitoring and continuously improving our environmental performance. The policy statement will be regularly reviewed and update as necessary. The management team endorses these policy statements and is fully committed to their implementation.
