Olive Co-operative seeks to raise awareness of the difficulties faced by Palestinians, and to support those working for a just peace in Palestine and Israel. It aims to do this by three main means: sponsorship of new olive trees, arranging tours to Palestine and Israel, and selling Palestinian fairly traded goods in the UK.

Our awareness that the Palestinian economy has been decimated by Israeli-imposed restrictions on movement and by conflict means that we’re continually working to develop ways for fairly trading with Palestinians.

We consider that every aspect of our work is an education, both to ourselves and to those we work with.

Olive Co-operative offers rewarding small-group tours to Palestine/Israel, promoting principles of respect and non-violence by all and to all.

As a responsible tour operator, Olive Co-operative works to benefit the Palestinian economy by using local tour guides and partners such as the non-profit Alternative Tourism Group, based in Bethlehem, and by marketing fair trade Palestinian goods in the UK
