Rebearth Future Adventure
The Primary aim of Rebearth Future Adventure is conceived from an enjoyment of the natural environment as a playground for outdoor adventure activities and thus the desire to retain it in its current if not enhanced natural state.
It is by providing outdoor adventure participants and providers with environmentally friendly, recycled and ecologically sound apparel and equipment, that Rebearth Future Adventure intends to meet its primary aim.
All raw materials used in the construction of the range of outdoor adventure apparel and equipment will be sourced from recognised and certified environmentally friendly, recycled and ecologically sound suppliers and will themselves be either of natural, recycled or minimum carbon impact materials again carrying recognised and certified proof of legitimacy.
All stages of transportation will employ methods which are identified and recognised as having as minimal an impact on the environment as possible and wherever possible will be sourced in the UK to minimise carbon impact.
All processes used in the manufacture of the apparel and equipment will be carried out by environmentally aware producers with ecological impact minimised either by the employment of environmentally friendly manufacturing processes and/or the use of natural binding materials, colorants and finishes.
Rebearth Future Adventure will then employ retail methods which minimise carbon emissions in particular a wind powered internet site for secure on line transactions.
All business activities carried out in the running of Rebearth Future Adventure will be carried out with environmental sustainability in mind and waste kept to a minimum or recycled for future use.
Furthermore to underline the commitment of Rebearth Future Adventure to this ethos a percentage of all income will be donated via an Earth tax to grass roots environmental and social projects.
Ethical Policy
Rebearth is in the first instance an environmental organisation which is striving to provide high quality products that will last so they won't need regularly replacing however big your adventures may be. We take every measure possible to ensure that our products are as environmentally friendly as possible which means it may not be the cheapest for both us and you the customer but carry as minimal a carbon footprint as is currently possible. We believe that the extra costs incurred are worth it for the long term survival of Plant Earth so stand by our ethos of sustainability over profitability.. As outlined in the organisation description all components of my business model, processes, procedures and finished products strive to leave as a minimal a carbon impact on the planet as is technologically possible at the current time. From using eco friendly transportation via city sprints eco policy to wind powered and manual production. All waste is kept to a minimum with packaging recycled, stationery and unavoidable paperwork manufactured from FCS certified sources and using vegetable based inks. I spend a great amount of time identifying and sourcing certified environmentally friendly partner organisations from T shirt and Sons eco garment printers to allthingsgreen.net and greenfinder advertising to velo-re and fairgrounds recycled rubber belts and sandals. Without wanting to sound holier than thou I strongly believe in preserving the Earth's Natural environment in it's present if not enhanced state for those who inhabit the planet today and in millienia to come.
