Ethical PolicyBeing an environmental network (in fact a partnership between 2 environmental charities and 1 environmental not for profit org) we value ethical principles very highly. We purchase and use Fairtrade products as well as taking a leading role in the local Fairtrade Steering Group. We purchase locally made goods if possible and locally bought good where possible with second hand always considered first. Our role as a body is to support, develop, promote and represent local environmental groups, organisations and action and we do this is an inclusive and participatory way working with grass roots communities. We have policies, codes of practice to safe guard vulnerable people and suuport local organisations to work to this good practice level. In addition to the organisation our volunteers and one staff member try to live, work, bank, purchase and consume ethically with all of us participating within our community.
