Sarah Waterhouse Textiles is a textile design and printing company where all fabric is printed by hand in a small studio in Sheffield, England.
The company is run by Sarah Waterhouse who designs all the collections and prints every piece of fabric by hand using water based inks.
Hand printed fabric has a distinctive quality and offers a unique alternative to mass produced printed fabrics. As well as a collection of prints available in carefully selected colours, we also offer a bespoke service with designs available in custom colours to perfectly compliment your decor.
Sarah Waterhouse Textiles has a strong environmental and ethical policy. We choose to use only environmentally friendly fabrics such as hemp or organic cotton.

Ethical and Environmental Policy
Sarah Waterhouse Textiles prints using only water based inks on environmentally friendly fabrics. All fabrics are fairtrade/organic cotton or hemp.Every aspect of the business strives to be ethical and environmentally friendly. All our stationery and labels use recycled paper, items such as our notebooks which require individual packaging are sent out in biodegradable sleeves, all orders are posted in biodegradable packets and wrapped in recycled tissue paper. All wholesale orders are sent out in reused bubble and boxes. We also recycle all waste wherever possible.
We support local businesses in Sheffield wherever possible and also stock a number of shops and galleries in the local area. All local stockists have stock delivered by hand or using public transport.
Sarah Waterhouse Textiles supports small scale fair trade workers co-operatives through the purchase of items such as organic cotton tote bags.
