Swop2Shop was born out of a natural demand for new and varied fashions between our friends. We found that in this current economic market it wasn’t possible to constantly refresh our wardrobes. We began to swap clothes between friends, take unworn or unwanted clothes to dress agencies and sell through online auctions. There was one clear problem. Selling our clothes often meant that the money went to pay utility bills or go towards the monthly household finances. Our clothes were being sold but NOT being replaced...and so Swop2Shop was born. The aim of Swop2Shop is to create a unique swapping and shopping experience where no money is changing hands. The Swop2Shop site enables women to list and swap their clothes for free, using accumulated points. These points are then used to buy other items of clothing on a secure web platform. There are two membership options available; basic and premium. Basic membership is free and members list items of clothing themselves. Premium membership costs £10 a year and members send their clothing in to the Swop2Shop offices where we list and post the items ourselves. With premium membership we also credit the member's account with immediate spending points when we receive their items. Swop2Shop provides a Guilt Free shopping environment and the ability to refresh your wardrobe as often as you like! Every Woman's dream. Every partners idea of Heaven.

Swop2Shop encourages the recycling and reuse of clothing. We believe in guilt free, environmentally friendly shopping. We have developed partnerships along the way, tackling environmental issues like waste and re-cycling and we are now partners with Ecotricity, Mhuola.com, MyZeroWaste.com and HelloEcoLiving.com. Swop2Shop has been designed to nurture all those who not only care about their bank balances, but feel passionately about the environment too. With such great partnerships, Swop2Shop tackles re-cycling in an ethical and stylish way.
