tea

tea is an ethical advertising and communications agency that only works with like-minded, values driven businesses whose products or services are sustainable, environmentally friendly and socially responsible.

What we do is advertising. Big stuff (posters, tv, press). And little stuff (postcards, mailers, viral emails). We can also help with new product development and brand strategies. Our creative thinking is all done in a spirit of positive communication.

Ethical Policy

As an, at the moment, virtual agency our ethical practices are largely but not wholly demonstrable at a personal level. 1. In our business lives for instance, we try only to use recycled office supplies as well as avoiding the over-use where possible of resources. So, we would always prefer to email rather than post. We also try to use public transport when we can. When we need offices we use The Hub. If we ever need permanent offices they will be as environmentally friendly as is available. On a personal, possibly more mundane level, we use ecover products where possible, do not waste water or electricity (energy saving bulbs etc), eat organic, buy fair trade and discriminate against companies who are not the above. One of our partners is investigating the possibility of using a domestic wind generator. We do not litter or put waste, toxic or otherwise, into the environment. We love horticulture and do not use pesticides. We recycle pretty much everything. One partner composts. We refuse excess packaging where we can and have even lobbied local supermarkets to reduce excess packaging (to no avail). We are members of Greenpeace. 2. By definition, we ONLY support socially responsible, fair and sustainable trading practices. We are not only not interested in creating advertising campaigns for arms dealers, polluters, unfair traders, environmental vandals etc for any money in the world, quite the reverse, we want to expose such practises whenever we get the chance. 3. As above but also:- we want to eat but money is just not it for us. So for instance, we do not operate a mark up system. Our services cost what they cost and what has been agreed. We think first and foremost about what
